Poetic fodder :
" I am interested in honesty + effort and the way we tuck in a little closer to ourselves. there is beauty in the pocked peels of oranges + cantaloupe with the flesh peeled back. in teeth marks. in digging in. after emotion has sobered, what will be your convincing tools ? truth truth truth. yours, mine, and what we make of it by how we live. i am not infatuated by retrospect or regret, but interested in harnessing what i have learned in order to revisit or recreate opportunities with greater courage + audacity. perception is the most malleable part of our experience. we have neither failed nor finished, we only make reckless our affair with time in indecision or discredit. if we are too loudly concerned with concept we will not hear context...." ~ T. Marie
Writing prompt suggestions ( take these in your own direction ) :
Have you been here before, and if so , are you better for it ? What is your relationship to time... is it a line or perhaps a torus loop turning back in on itself ? A revisit ? A transit. Do you find yourself beginning again or making your way down the further road ? What is the meat here.

The great neverending weirdness of now is a reflection of the great neverending absurdity of our existence. This pandemic. These natural disasters. The violence. The lies. The polarization. The demonization. The ignorance. The stupidity. The apathy. The layers of meaninglessness piled upon us as truth. The system which was made with most of us not in mind. The invisible web of deceit, greed, and entitlement presented as human values. Blah after mother fucking blah. It’s all dust, fantasy, human folly. The whole nature of our understanding is based on the inevitable impermanence of such beliefs, structures, politics. So what is truth, what is time, if this is the context? How do we find the audacity to continue a journey not based in reality? For a change of perception, one also needs a change of heart. But first that heart must be healed and learn to trust that the path it sets upon will not turn to dust.
