Prayer for Healing, Wholeness + Justice
May all beings be happy, whole and free.
May there be safety, security and sustenance for all.
May all beings have access to resources for wellness and healing.
May we care for and respect each other as One Family
and treat others’ children and elders as our own.
May we honor and respect Mother Earth,
the Great Cosmos, and the Creative Consciousness
from which we came,
whose elements course through our veins,
nourish our flesh, and vitalize our spirits;
whose tangible body and vast mystery
live within us as ritual and contradiction;
whose nature is the nature of us all,
providing all beings with a sense of hope, possibility, and unity.
May we each love ourselves fiercely, without condition—
so that we may honor the light and dark in all else;
so that we may give and receive love in the forms of
kindness, compassion, forgiveness,
pleasure, acceptance and celebration to all others.
May every aspect of who we are
be loved, respected, and celebrated
by our families, communities, and cultures.
And may we stand authentically in these truths and desires
so that they may bear fruit in our thoughts, words, and deeds.
For love is the seed of understanding and
the heart is the root from which all else grows.
